ภายในคอร์ส ผู้เรียนจะได้เรียนรู้กระบวนการทำ Prosthetic Wounds จากซิลิโคน ตั้งแต่การออกแบบแผล การปั้นแผลด้วยดินน้ำมัน การสร้างโมลด์ ไปจนถึงการหล่อชิ้นงานซิลิโคน และการติดตั้งแผลบนผิวเพื่อให้ดูสมจริงสำหรับการถ่ายทำ
This 2-day intensive workshop is designed for those who want to learn how to create Special Effects Wounds (SFX Wounds) for film, television, and video productions.
The course covers the complete workflow of creating Prosthetic Wounds using silicone, from wound design and sculpting with clay, to mold making, silicone casting, and the final application on skin.

Second Skin School is an institution dedicated to teaching SFX Makeup and special effects makeup techniques that combine both artistic and technical disciplines.
These techniques are used to create realistic visual effects for various types of media such as films, commercials, and other visual productions.

ด้วยความที่ศาสตร์ที่เรียกว่า Prosthetic makeup หรือการแต่งหน้าด้วยเทคนิคพิเศษในไทยนั้นยังไม่เป็นที่รู้จักในวงกว้าง บุคคลากรคนไทยที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญทางด้านนี้ก็ยังมีน้อย โรงเรียนที่สอนก็มีอยู่น้อย และหายากทั้งๆ ที่ความสามารถด้านนี้สำคัญ และเป็นที่ต้องการในวงการภาพยนต์ เราจึงอยากเปิดสถาบันที่สอนเรื่องนี้แบบจริงจัง และเฉพาะด้านเพื่อจะช่วยพัฒนาคุณภาพ และผลิตบุคคลากรด้านเมคอัพเอฟเฟ็กต์ในไทยให้เทียบเท่ากับต่างประเทศ
The field known as Prosthetic Makeup, or special effects makeup, is still not widely known in Thailand.
There are only a small number of skilled professionals and very few places where people can learn these techniques.
However, these skills are extremely important in the film and media production industry.
Second Skin School was created to provide focused and professional training in this field, helping to develop the skills of Thai artists and contribute to the growth of the special effects makeup industry in Thailand, bringing it closer to international standards.

WHAT IS PROSTHETIC MAKEUP ?
Prosthetic นั้นแปลว่าอุปกรณ์เทียมที่ใช้กับร่างกาย เช่น แขน ขา ตาเทียมเมื่อรวมกับคำว่า Makeup จึงแปลว่าการแต่งหน้าเอฟเฟ็กต์ที่มีลูกเล่น หรือความพิเศษเฉพาะ แตกต่างกับการแต่งหน้าปกติเพื่อการสร้างคาแรคเตอร์ของตัวละครให้เหมาะสมกับบท เช่นการสร้างแผล อาการบาดเจ็บต่างๆ หรือการเปลี่ยนร่างนักแสดงให้เป็นผี หรือตัวประหลาด เพื่อช่วยเติมเต็มให้บท หรือจินตนการของผู้กำกับให้ออกมาสมบูรณ์แบบมากที่สุด Prosthetic Makeup จึงมีความสำคัญไม่น้อยไปกว่างานด้านอื่นๆ

Because of its ability to enhance realism and storytelling, Prosthetic Makeup plays an important role in the film and entertainment industry.
